President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, made a recent appearance at the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony, before embarking on a state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Clad in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta to a farewell ceremony attended by high-ranking officials. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other prominent individuals from both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, Prabowo departed for his official visit. Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, he took a brief moment to observe military cadets practicing a marching band performance with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary objective of the trip is to bolster bilateral cooperation between the two nations, focusing on the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring strategic partnerships. This visit is intended to strengthen the ties between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the mutual benefit of both countries.
