Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo

During President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, members of the Indonesian diaspora, particularly students, shared their optimistic views on his leadership. The Indonesian community in Turkey, led by Maulidya Nur Islami, expressed pride and happiness over the President’s visit, considering it a positive development for both nations. Also, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement with them during the visit, hopeful that the meeting between Indonesian and Turkish presidents would pave the way for enhanced cooperation in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, foreseeing Prabowo’s visit as a source of continued pride for Indonesia. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt also welcomed President Prabowo, expressing confidence in the visit’s potential to positively impact education development for Indonesian students in the country. Overall, diaspora members in these nations extended prayers and well wishes as Prabowo embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has engaged in official visits to several Middle Eastern countries like the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
