Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the elected President for the period 2024-2029, prays for the victory of the Indonesian U-23 National Football Team that will compete against South Korea in the quarter-finals of the 2024 Asian U-23 Cup in Doha, Qatar.
The prayer was made by Prabowo after he visited and had a discussion with Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) and the officials of the National Awakening Party (PKB) at the PKB Central Office on Wednesday (24/4).
“Our national U-23 team in Doha will compete against South Korea. Let us pray for our National Team. That is very important,” said Prabowo.
“What is your score prediction, Sir?” asked the media to Prabowo.
Prabowo just smiled and shortly after, he left the PKB Central Office while waving his hand to bid farewell to the media colleagues and PKB officials.
The match between the Indonesian U-23 National Team and South Korea U-23 will take place at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, Qatar on Friday, April 26, 2024.
The Indonesian U-23 National Team previously made history by advancing to the quarter-finals of the 2024 Asian U-23 Cup after defeating the Jordan U-23 team with a score of 4-1. This achievement marks the first time for the Indonesian National Team to compete in the Asian U-23 Cup.
